Description
This guy is a piece of work. Watering my neighbor’s garden one day, I saw this pretty little male cardinal just sitting on the fence. He flew away a distance when I came near him to water plants, but flitted back in front of me to get his picture taken. Then his wife showed up and just sat and watched. My neighbor says he’s a fixture back there, and always comes right up to the porch to get food. So, of course, I had to paint his portrait.
