Description
‘Mosaic Elephant’ is painted over an assemblage of Asian and Hindi newspapers on a 12″ x 12″ x 1.75″ deep nested box. A few found objects dancing over the elephant’s patterns highlight the whimsical idea of the painted elephants in India.
The piece is wired for hanging, and the sides are finished with assemblage and bright glazes, like the front.
