Description
Sunday mornings after church in a new place where I had moved, I would go on adventures, finding out what was in the area. Among the interesting buildings, places and dogs, I found a Mexican coffee house and bar. Yes, they were playing to both markets.
On a Sunday morning, the bar was closed of course, but the coffee and croissants were flowing. The place was rustic/artistic, with pine and mesquite distressed tables, chairs and hutches. The ceiling was hammered copper, and the lattes were unbelievable. With the sun streaming through the front window, I found it a great place to write and people-watch. Sometimes food is exquisite and sumptuous. Sometimes, it’s just a simple reminder of a quaint alcove on a sunny day.
