Description
I was kind of sad when I sold one of my crab paintings a while back. Attached to that painting were memories of family trips to the Chesapeake Bay where we would sail from port to port, eating softshelled crab for dinner and letting the water rock us to sleep. Once the dingy snapped off the boat and when one of my family became exhausted swimming after it, someone rescued him, then joined us on our chartered boat for dinner. The adults drank while we kids swam in the canal, the ever-present crabs reminding us who was boss of the water with a light but scary pinch on our toes. You can’t buy memories like that. Wait. Yes you can, right here. And there’s even a tiny shark on the side, for that extra bite!
