Description
The javelina is a sparky little peccary — not a pig — which scours the desert floor for prickly pear and grubs. This picture captures his spicy side. You can see his hunchy, spiky little form trotting across the desert in Arizona with his compadres, and people are warned to keep their pets close; javelinas have been known to get the best of them!
I still think they’re cute. Then again, I’m from the east coast, where we don’t have javelinas, only deer.
This 11 x 14 print, from the original ‘Javelina’ art is unframed.
