This drawing is AUTOGRAPHED by Danny Trejo. At MegaCon, DC in 2023, I met Danny Trejo, who was impressed with the drawing, and autographed it. Check out the photo of me and Danny, after he signed the art.
A rough-looking actor whose looks work for him, Danny Trejo came up the hard way. Through drugs and abuse at an early age, he went through jail, crime and then found faith, turned his life around and has made the best of what he has been given.
I think it is that past reflected on his face that made me most want to draw Danny Trejo. This is the first of a few and, if I’m blessed to meet him, hopefully I’ll have some different and great photos to draw from!
