So, cleaning out the garage has been tiring, but fun! Because my ‘real’ studio is too small for the public to march through, we’re using the garage: me and two other artists, whose work and links I will post in the next blog!
This idea came after last year’s Chester County Studio Tour. See, I had written myself off from doing this show because, again, my studio was too small. But after seeing a successful local artist who transformed his garage into a studio for this show, with about 4 other artists, I realized I could do this.
The fun parts of all of this are the time my Dad and I get to spend together, and the Kerrick artifacts we find in the recesses of this place, like spider eggs, dishes from old pets and a hand grenade.
Above is the studio space for May 19-20, 2018 Chester County Studio Tour. I’m Studio #30. It’s definitely a work in progress, but it will look stunning by the time we overhaul it to ‘studio/gallery’ level!
So come out on May 19-20 (a Saturday and Sunday), where guest artists Linda Povey and Gillian Pokalo and I will be showing our art, offering refreshments, and hanging out. My studio is located on a 5-acre farm in historic Chester County at 1811 West Strasburg Road, in West Chester.
Chester County Studio Tour: Saturday, May 19, 10am – 6pm – Sunday May 20, 11am – 5pm.
